Rector of UHZ Prof.Dr. Armand Krasniqi jointly with the officials of the NGO “Syri i Vizionit”, Dukagjin Nishiqi and Qenan Bardhaj met with the leaders of the EU project “ALLED 2”, Mrs. Efka Heder and Mr. Anton Gojani. The meeting was also attended by the Dean of FMTHM prof.asoc.dr. Adem Dreshaj, advisor to the rector Dr.sc. Driton Sylqa and the director of the career development office MA. Abedin Selimaj.

The purpose of the meeting was information about the joint application of UHZ and “Syri i Vizionit” for international projects that support professional programs in the field of mountain tourism, which then would create a link between the qualifications of the higher education system and vocational training for the labor market. Following the received information, the process of concretization of the professional program “tourist guide” within the level 5 of the National Qualifications Framework will be initiated. The program will have certain credits, which will be recognized by the university in order to continue the scientific level for all those interested students.

Ms. Heder and Mr. Gojani were very clear and very constructive in their positive approach to support our institution in achieving the strategic objective, which is the profiling of the university and its programs. In this spirit, they undertook to organize a joint virtual meeting with the University of Zadar, which has tradition and is specialized for touristic programs, to discuss opportunities for cooperation and mutual benefit of the two institutions. UHZ has already benefited from the ALLED 2 project related to the preparation of the diploma supplement for all UHZ accredited programs. Rector Krasniqi appreciated the contribution of the ALLED 2 project and expressed his gratitude to the officials for the professional support in the framework of advancing the academic processes of the University “Haxhi Zeka”.
