Rector of UHZ Prof.Dr. Armand Krasniqi with his associates received on an official visit the Director of the Municipal Directorate for Culture, Youth and Sports (DKRS) Mrs., Xhenet Syka-Kelmendi.
Mrs. Syka-Kelmendi congratulated the rector and the management for the new leadership mandate at the University, and expressed her most sincere wishes for the future of the university. Excited by the hospitality, she confirmed the unreserved institutional support for each development project so that Haxhi Zeka University can advance with its programs in accordance with the students’ perspective.
The Rector thanked the director for the visit and expressed special gratitude for the support provided by the municipal institution. He informed the director that the mission of the management is focused on the student’s perspective, on the profiling of the university, and of the professors, while the new programs being developed will be in line with the demands of the labor market. The two senior institutional representatives agreed to take the joint initiative to establish the Peja City Orchestra, always in close cooperation with the UHZ Faculty of Arts. In conclusion, the rector praised the confirmation of the support of the Municipality of Peja, respectively DKRS in relation to the university.
After the meeting, the participants jointly visited the new building of the Faculty of Arts, which is under construction within the university campus. The works in this facility are planned to be completed at the beginning of the next academic year 2022/2023.
