Rector of the University “Haxhi Zeka”, prof.dr. Armand Krasniqi visited today the Municipality of Istog. Accompanied by two directors of administration, Mr. Veton Jahmurataj and Mr. Driton Fetaj, they were received by the Mayor Mr. Ilir Ferati and his associate Mr. Gzim Ademaj.
Rector Krasniqi, initially informed President Ferati about the objectives and strategy of the University ‘Haxhi Zeka, the end of the academic year, preparations for the registration of new students, etc. In the context of current events, the President was informed by the Rector about the summer university ‘UNISUM’, which has an international character and is held for the first time in Peja, which starts on 24.06 till 08.07.2022. This summer university is organized in 6 courses, all in English language, while it is implemented and organized exclusively by the University ‘Haxhi Zeka’, underlined the rector.
Mayor Ferati thanked the guests for the visit and expressed gratitude for the information, respectivelly fot the overview of the university given by the rector. He assured the rector and confirmed that the Municipality of Istog is always open for cooperation and welcomes any activity that goes as benefit for the education of young people. At the end, the parties agreed on an even closer formal cooperation, respectively a memorandum of cooperation will be prepared and signed in the near future.
