Minister Mr. Elbert Krasniqi paid a visit to UHZ
Mr. Elbert Krasniqi, Minister at the Ministry of Local Government Administration, with associates was today on an official visit to Haxhi Zeka University, in Peja town. The Minister was received by the Rector Prof. Dr. Armand Krasniqi, the Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Edmond Beqiri, the Coordinator Prof. Dr. Hysnija Bibuljica and the Counselor to the Rector Dr.sc. Driton Sylqa.
Rector Krasniqi, initially informed the Minister in general about ongoing processes in all five academic units of university, about current commitments pertaining to re-accreditation of programs at the university level. He also informed the Minister about his vision regarding the development of the university, about the current problems and situation, as well as about the current and future needs related to the academic processes in perspective.
Vice Rector Beqiri spoke about the cooperation of the university with foreign countries, about current projects, as well as about the work that is being done regarding new projects, which are funded mainly by foreign financial resources, for i.e., the EU and beyond.
Minister Krasniqi congratulated the rector and the management for the new leadership mandate at the University. Among other things, he provided institutional support for each development project in order for Haxhi Zeka University to progress further and in line with labour market demands.
The Rector thanked the Minister and expressed special gratitude for the institutional support provided. He concluded by assuring the minister that the management mission focuses on the student, his perspective, while the new programs being developed will be in line with the demands of the labor market.
