On the occasion of 8th of March – International Women’s Day, the Kosovo Forum of Female Judges and Prosecutors, supported by the OSCE, held a roundtable today to discuss the topic “Together for Women’s Rights and Equal Access to Justice”.
Participants of the roundtable were students from the Faculty of Law, while the panelists were: Mrs. Sanije Gashi Seferi, prosecutor, Mrs. Valbona Disha Haxhosaj, prosecutor, Mrs. Kosovare Kelmendi, lawyer, prof.ass.dr. Gjylbehare Murati, Zt. Riccardo Celeghini, Director of the OSCE Office, and the Rector of UHZ, prof.dr. Armand Krasniqi.
The students were briefed by the panelists on human rights and freedoms in general and on women’s rights and their access to justice in particular. Communication with students was quite active, who received answers from the panelists for each question posed. The roundtable was held in the courtroom of the law faculty.
