OPEN CALL FOR TEACHING STAFF

1. Description of the International Winter  University UNIWIN 2025

2^nd  International Winter  University “UNIWIN”  is organized by University “Haxhi Zeka” (www.unhz.eu) in Peja. The main aim of this event is to stimulate international collaboration with national, regional, and international universities in order to create better opportunities in the field of science and the teaching process. The University “Haxhi Zeka” will organize:

2^nd  edition of the International Winter  University “UNIWIN – Peja 2024 “, which will be held from 20^th of January 2025 – 02^nd of February 2025

First week of UNIWIN 2025, January 20^th 2025 – January 26^th 2025 will be online

Second week of UNIWIN 2025, January 27^th 2025 – February 2^nd 2025 – physical presence

through this event, it will be offered several ECTS credited courses covering a range of multidisciplinary study fields of Bachelor or Master Level in

Tourism, Hospitality and Environment.

Aims of the International Winter University UNIWIN  2025

The main aims of the School are to:

1. Improve academic foundations and help develop a new skill sets for the future;
2. Expand horizons;
3. Help discover new opportunities and challenges;
4. Provide instruction and discussion on a wider range of analytical perspectives in a specific field;
5. Build on the most recent developments and challenges in the world;         
6. Create opportunities for national, regional, and international cooperation and collaboration.
7. Networking with students

Application procedures

• Eligibility

UNIWIN is open to all candidates who are:

• Involved an accredited college or university;
• involved in research and science;
• ambitious, creative, and transparent in transferring knowledge;
• have a chance of being accepted;
• have intentions to develop future institutionalized cooperation with UHZ.

Important Notes:

• Teaching should be done by two teachers: Local and International. Professors of each department (local or international) can suggest a course for UNIWIN 2025. Course suggestions with the name of a co-professor indicated will have the advantage. The local professor must have advanced knowledge of English language.
• Lecturing and reporting during the International Winter University, UNIWIN 2025 shall be done exclusively in English Language
• Advantage will be given to applications coming from Euro Atlantic countries.

• Application procedures

All candidates must complete the application form which can be found here. The application form should be returned to the International Relation Office no later than October 29^th 2024. We kindly ask you to fill out the application form with accuracy, leaving no box blank. Please note that incomplete applications will not be considered.

• Admission criteria

Admissions decisions will be communicated via email on the November 5^th 2024. Please have the following supporting documents ready to upload to the online application form documents as follows:

• A scan of your passport;
• A copy of your contract with the institution you work for;
• An up-to-date copy of your CV;
• A detailed curriculum of the proposed module (module template can be found here)
