On the ninth day of the International Winter University (UNIWIN) 2025, the second guest lecture was held featuring Ms. Mimika Dobroshi, the Coordinator of the Erasmus+ office in Kosovo. The lecture focused on the benefits and significant opportunities offered by the Erasmus+ program for Kosovo’s students and higher education institutions.
Ms. Dobroshi highlighted how Erasmus+ fosters academic collaboration, enhances mobility, and promotes intercultural exchange. She emphasized the invaluable opportunities available to Kosovo students, such as studying abroad, gaining international experience, and developing essential skills that significantly improve their employability in the global job market.
Moreover, the program’s exposure to diverse educational environments not only contributes to students’ personal growth but also broadens their perspectives and nurtures adaptability in various cultural contexts. For Kosovo’s higher education institutions, Erasmus+ facilitates partnerships with European universities, promoting research collaborations and sharing best practices in teaching and learning. This engagement plays a pivotal role in elevating the quality of education and strengthening the academic reputation of Kosovo’s institutions within the broader European higher education area.
Ms. Dobroshi emphasized that Erasmus+ acts as a driving force for educational reform and development in Kosovo, stimulating innovation and improving educational outcomes across the country. By fostering stronger international connections, the program ultimately supports Kosovo’s integration into the European educational landscape, benefiting both students and institutions alike.
The lecture provided insightful perspectives on how Kosovo can continue to leverage the Erasmus+ program to contribute to the global exchange of knowledge, research, and culture
