"Haxhi Zeka" University“ organized the opening ceremony of the Third International Winter University, UNIWIN 2026, welcoming around 70 local and international students, as well as six professors from Turkey, Poland, Finland, Hungary and Bulgaria, in addition to professors from "Haxhi Zeka" University.
Participating students have the opportunity to choose one of six academic courses, taught by professors from "Haxhi Zeka" University and international professors, which include topics:
- Eco-Digital Futures: Green Tech, Smart Tourism & Sustainable Investment
- Sustainable and Innovative Tourism, Hospitality and Culinary Services
- Tourism Economy
- Design Thinking for tourism innovations
- Neurofeedback EEG in Tourism & Wellness experiences
- Circular economy for sustainable tourism: Policies and development practices
At the opening ceremony, the Rector of “Haxhi Zeka” University, Prof. Dr. Armand Krasniqi, congratulated the participating students and professors, emphasizing the importance of this winter university for the development of knowledge, innovation, and strengthening international cooperation.
During the development of UNIWIN 2026, study visits and social activities for participants are also planned, with the aim of recognizing and promoting the tourist, cultural and natural potential of the Municipality of Peja, as well as strengthening its image as an attractive destination for students and international visitors. The program will also include lectures by local and international guest speakers.
