"Haxhi Zeka" University in Peja, for the first time, held the ALUMNI ceremony "Reunion of graduated students. The ceremony was held on May 12, 2017.
MISSION
The Alumni Association of “HAXHI ZEKA” University is an organization that brings together all graduates at the bachelor or master level. The Alumni Association was created out of the need to strengthen the relationship between “Haxhi Zeka” University and its graduates.
The UHZ Alumni Association is an association dedicated to serving the University, its alumni (graduates), students and friends. Its mission is to strengthen and develop UHZ through assisting in student recruitment, engaging in activities to enhance the reputation of the University at home and abroad, and promoting a positive image of the University and its alumni.
Purpose
- Connecting all generations of students, to create ongoing collaboration and create connections between alumni students, professors of the respective faculties and the broader academic community;
- To promote the existence, work and significance of the Alumni Association;
- To create a database of graduates and their data to enable their penetration into the labor market;
- To organize events, seminars, professional conferences and to provide professional advancement for graduates;
- To strengthen the reputation of the university by strengthening the reputation of its graduates;
- To develop the university's cooperation with enterprises and institutions in which our former students are engaged;
- Participation in international scientific and professional exchange through establishing relationships with Alumni associations in the region and beyond;
- Advancing academic skills according to market demands.
ALUMNI ASSOCIATION BOARD
The Alumni Executive Board is the main body of the association. In accordance with the association's statute, the Executive Board is responsible for creating alumni policies, approving and implementing the association's annual plan, and organizing educational, social and networking activities. The Executive Board is composed of enthusiastic members who are graduates of UHZ and employed in various companies, administrative bodies and non-governmental organizations in Kosovo and abroad.

ACTIVITIES
- To enable all members to register online, have quick and efficient access to our information and mutual contacts.
- Organizing round tables, seminars and conferences in which economic and social issues will be addressed
- Organizing training and development programs for members of the Alumni Association in the context of better information on development trends and market demands
- Organizing meetings of association members with current students, to share their experiences
- Collaboration with the Career Development Center, so that members of the Alumni Association, through mutual cooperation, have access to information and opportunities for further training and applications for positions that best match their qualifications and skills.
