Visit of the Delegation of the “Haxhi Zeka” University to Bosnia and Herzegovina

During the two-day visit to Sarajevo, representatives of the "Haxhi Zeka" University, led by the rector Prof. Dr. Fadil Millaku, met with the rector of the University of Sarajevo, Prof. Dr. Rifat Škrijelj, as well as other representatives of this university.

During this visit, they discussed the possibilities of further deepening cooperation between the two universities. The meeting discussed the possibilities of cooperation through the exchange of academic staff, researchers and students, as well as the organization of joint study programs, research and artistic activities, as well as anything else of mutual interest.

In order to develop and promote cooperation, "Haxhi Zeka" University also visited the Faculty of Economics in Sarajevo, with which it signed an agreement, which includes plans for expanding and strengthening cooperation.

Representatives of our university also signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Faculty of Criminology and Security Studies, as well as the Institute for the Research of Crimes against Humanity and International Law.

The delegation also met with the Faculty of Agriculture and Food, represented by the Dean Prof. Muhamedom Brka, where they discussed the joint project BUGI "Western Balkans Initiative for Urban Agriculture", whose objectives are the development of the second study program and lifelong learning from urban agriculture in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and Kosovo.

During the visit, the delegation was also sent to the UNSA Campus, and to the National University Library of Bosnia and Herzegovina, where in the absence of the library director, the delegation was received by other library representatives, with whom they discussed the possibilities of cooperation between the University Library of Sarajevo and the "Haxhi Zeka" University.

Meanwhile, the Vice-Rector for Teaching and Student Affairs, Prof. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sabiha Shala, was also interested in the mutual exchange in accessing the online Library, due to the study programs in the Bosnian language.[Best_Wordpress_Gallery id=”115″ gal_title=”Sarajevo cooperation agreement-2″]
