At the invitation of Washington State University in America, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Enkeleda Lulaj, invited as a professor for one semester at this University through the global classroom project, gave a lecture on the economy of Kosovo and its development over the years, to students from universities from America, Ukraine and Croatia.
During the lecture, Prof. Enkeleda Lulaj also invited three students from the Faculty of Tourism, Hospitality and Environmental Management - UHZ, to discuss Kosovo's tourism, who are staying for a semester as virtual mobile students at the Faculty of Business and Tourism, WSU in America.
In this lecture, students from these Universities: Washington State University in the USA, Alfred Nobel University in Ukraine and RIT University in Croatia, had the opportunity to ask questions about Kosovo and its economic development, where some of the students had no knowledge of who Kosovo was or its economy. Through this cooperation, "Haxhi Zeka" University, more specifically the Faculty of Tourism, Hospitality and Environmental Management, will help students increase their knowledge and professional development through collaborations with students. .
Other world universities, as well as through lectures by international professors, as well as experts in the tourism industry and economics. At the end of the lecture, it was emphasized about the possibilities of other collaborations in the future, also students from the USA, Ukraine and Croatia expressed their desire to visit Kosovo and the “Haxhi Zeka” University. Thank you for this collaboration of prof. Lulaj with Washington State University, said Prof. Jha and Prof. Hunter, Dean of the Faculty of Business, as well as other professors of this project. Washington State University will help Haxhi Zeka University through their experiences in teaching and research.
