Based on the provisions of Regulation no. 318272018 on the engagement of students in practical work in the administration of the 'Haxhi Zeka' University in Peja and the decision of the Governing Council no. 229 dated 13.02.2025, the office of the Acting Secretary General of the 'Haxhi Zeka' University in Peja, dated 13.02.2025, announces:
COMPETITION FOR THE ENGAGEMENT OF STUDENTS IN PRACTICAL WORK IN THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE “HAXHI ZEKA” UNIVERSITY IN PEĐE
General information:
"Haxhi Zeka" University in Peja offers students and graduates the opportunity to engage in paid internships, with the aim of applying theoretical skills in practice in various professional and administrative fields.
UHZ offers the opportunity to engage ten (10) interns (active students and graduates), as follows:
- Four interns in the Information Technology Office:
- Three interns at the Office for International Cooperation:
- Three interns in the Academic Unit.
Payment amount: 180 Euros (gross) per month
Hours: 08.00 -16.00
Duration of internship: Six (6) months
All study profiles at the University can apply for these positions, excluding interns for the Information Technology Office who must be from the respective faculty.
Field of practice will be determined after selection, i.e. depending on the candidates' study profile, needs and opportunities available at the university.
Criteria for selecting students for internships:
- Candidates for internships must be final year students (bachelor's degree) or be registered in master's studies or have completed their studies (within the last six months) at the 'Haxhi Zeka' University in Peja:
- In selecting students for internships, the average grade during bachelor's or master's studies will be taken into account:
- Knowledge of English (advantage):
- Computer skills of software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint):
- Under equal conditions, priority for admission is given to students who are studying or have studied at the "Haxhi Zeka" University in Peja, and who have not benefited from previous internship programs from UHZ.
Required documentation for application
Candidates must submit:
- Internship application:
- Cover letter and CV:
- Certificate of grades: (senior candidates (bachelor) or master's studies)
- Proof of student status (not older than one month:
- A notarized copy or certificate of the bachelor's or master's degree (candidates who are graduates).
- Copy of ID card:
Completed applications, along with copies of the necessary evidence according to the competition, must be submitted electronically to the following e-mail address: [email protected]
The competition will remain open for eight (8) days, namely from 13.02.2025 to 21.02.2025 at 16.00.
Applications submitted after the deadline specified in the competition will not be accepted and incomplete applications will be rejected.
The professional committee will review the received applications and, if necessary, will organize a short interview with the candidates who have met the above criteria.
Candidates will be notified in advance of the interview time via email.
Candidates who are not accepted have the right to appeal within 3 days to the Complaints Review Committee within the UHZ.
All University students, without any distinction, are encouraged to apply, namely all those who meet the competition criteria.
Interns, upon completion of the practical work, will be provided with a certificate from UHZ.
