Universiteti Haxhi Zeka përmbylli me sukses edicionin e tretë të Universitetit Ndërkombëtar Dimëror UNIWIN, duke shënuar një ngjarje të rëndësishme akademike ndërkombëtare, ku patëm kënaqësinë të bashkëpunojmë me profesorë dhe studentë nga vende të ndryshme. Ky universitet dimëror na ofroi përvoja të reja, të vlefshme dhe frymëzuese, duke forcuar më tej bashkëpunimin akademik dhe ndërkulturor.
During this edition of UNIWIN, six courses were organized:
- Eco-Digital Futures: Green Tech, Smart Tourism & Sustainable Investment
- Sustainable and Innovative Tourism, Hospitality and Culinary Services
- Tourism Economy
- Design Thinking for Tourism Innovations
- Neurofeedback EEG in Tourism & Wellness Experiences
- Circular Economy for Sustainable Tourism: Policies and Development Practices
These courses were delivered by renowned professors from the University “Haxhi Zeka”: Prof. Elvis Elezaj, Prof. Fisnik Morina, Prof. Merita Begolli, Prof. Driton Sylqa, Prof. Thelleza Latifi, and Prof. Ibrahim Krasniqi, as well as distinguished international professors: Prof. Kesra Nermend, Prof. Malgorzata Nermend, Prof. Jiyan Kilic, Prof. Victoria Vasary, Prof. Ahm Shamsuzzoha, and Prof. Gjore Nakov.
Within the framework of the winter university, special guest lectures were also organized. Prof. Dr. Fatih Sönmez delivered a lecture entitled “Production of Value-Added Products from Local Plants.” Additionally, the Tourism Office of the Municipality of Peja organized a lecture titled “Tourism – Potential for Economic Development of Kosovo,” presented by Mr. Virtyt Morina, Ms. Blerta Harxhi Begolli, and Mr. Jakob Hook. They introduced students and both local and international professors to the natural and cultural assets of the Municipality of Peja, highlighting its potential for economic development through tourism and lecture by Ms. Mimika Dobroshi, representative of the Erasmus+ Office in Kosovo, who presented the mission, activities, and opportunities offered by the Erasmus+ program to students and academic staff.
During the winter university, various activities and study visits were also organized, including visits to Rugova, Onix Spa Center, the “Sleeping Beauty” Cave, National Judo Center, the Hamam of Peja, the City Museum, and many other sites of cultural and touristic importance.
The International Winter University “UNIWIN” successfully concluded its activities, leaving a significant impact on the advancement of international academic cooperation and the promotion of sustainable and innovative tourism.
