"Haxhi Zeka" University Begins the Process of Drafting the 2026-2030 Strategic Plan with Comprehensive Consultations

In this context, Haxhi Zeka University in Peja has officially launched the process of drafting the Strategic Plan 2026–2030, opening a five-day consultative cycle with academic leaders, administrative staff, students, industry, NGOs and higher education experts. This process aims to determine the strategic directions of institutional development for the next four-year period, through a clear definition of the mission, vision, strategic objectives and measurable performance indicators.

The first day of consultations focused on a comprehensive analysis of the achievements and challenges of the Strategic Plan 2023–2026, drawing concrete lessons for improving strategic planning and implementation in the future. Representatives of university leadership and support units addressed key issues related to the competitiveness of higher education institutions, student development, internationalization, quality assurance, digitalization, IT infrastructure, legal framework, career services, university library, as well as the impact of demographic trends on university development.

The process was characterized by open and inclusive discussions, concluding with a reflective session on the mission, vision and institutional values ​​of UHZ, as well as the presentation of the preliminary results of the first day.

Over the next few days, "Haxhi Zeka" University“ will continue with the structuring of thematic strategic objectives, the definition of institutional responsibilities, implementation deadlines and mechanisms for measuring progress, based on the analyses conducted and the direct contribution of stakeholders, with the aim of building a sustainable and future-oriented vision.
