"Haxhi Zeka" University“ AND Kosovo Academy of Sciences and Artss have signed an agreement today strategic cooperation, which marks one of the most important institutional steps in the history of the academic and scientific development of "Haxhi Zeka" University.
On this occasion, the President of ASHAK, Prof. Dr. Justina Pula, together with Academician Fejzullah Krasniqi, Vice President of ASHAK, Academician Bardh Rugova, Scientific Secretary and Academician Frashër Demaj, Secretary of the Social Sciences Section, received in an official meeting the delegation of "Haxhi Zeka" University, composed of: Prof. Dr. Armand Krasniqi, Rector; Dr. Sc. Assoc. Prof. Emine Pozhari, Chair of the Steering Council; Dr. Sc. Assoc. Prof. Alma Shehu-Lokaj, Vice-Rector for Teaching and Science as well as Mr. Adnan Lataj, Director of IT at "Haxhi Zeka" University.
This agreement opens a new chapter of institutional cooperation, through which the Kosovo Academy of Sciences and Arts creates space and concrete opportunities for the University "Haxhi Zeka" to be an active collaborator and direct contributor to the scientific, research and academic activities that ASHAK develops within the framework of its programs. This cooperation enables researchers and academic staff of UHZ to be involved in joint research projects, scientific publications, conferences, academic round tables and other initiatives of national importance.
For "Haxhi Zeka" University, this agreement represents a key moment in the realization of its scientific and academic mission. It confirms the university's strategic orientation towards building a consolidated research profile and creates, for the first time in the country, a real opportunity for high-level scientific diversity in public universities outside of traditional academic centers.
"Haxhi Zeka" University remains convinced that collaborations of this type, built on the academic and scientific level in the vertical dimension, constitute the future path for the homogenization, strengthening and unification of Kosovar science, reflecting its multidisciplinary character and increasing the impact of knowledge on the social, economic and cultural development of the Republic of Kosovo.
This agreement demonstrates the joint commitment of both institutions to advancing knowledge, increasing scientific quality, and building a contemporary, open, and inclusive academic ecosystem at the national level.
