Bridging Academia and Industry: UNISUM 2026 Students Visit Prince Coffee

As part of the International Summer University “UNISUM 2026, organized by Haxhi Zeka University in Peja, international and local students participated in an inspiring study visit to Prince Coffee, one of Kosovo’s leading coffee producers.

The visit provided participants with a unique opportunity to gain first-hand insight into the company’s coffee production process, quality assurance standards, modern manufacturing practices, and efficient production management. Students also learned how Prince Coffee products are successfully exported to international markets, highlighting the company’s role as a significant contributor to Kosovo’s economy and global presence.

Beyond exploring advanced production technologies, the visit served as a valuable platform for connecting academic knowledge with real-world business practices, encouraging discussions on innovation, sustainability, digital transformation, and international competitiveness.

The study visit brought together international and local students, accompanied by a distinguished team of academics from partner universities participating in UNISUM 2026. The academic delegation included Prof. Olta Nexhipi, Prof. Ariana Xhemajli, Prof. Laura Platkowska-Prokopczyk, Prof. Mimoza Luta, Prof. Jerry Fianyo, Prof. Mirjeta Domniku, Prof. Larisa Mistrean, and Prof. Merita Begolli Dauti, whose expertise enriched the learning experience and promoted interdisciplinary collaboration throughout the program.

This study visit reflects the mission of UNISUM 2026 to bridge academia and industry by offering students meaningful learning experiences beyond the classroom. Through collaborations with leading companies such as Prince Coffee, participants gain valuable practical insights, expand their international perspectives, and strengthen the skills needed to succeed in today’s rapidly evolving global business environment.
