Assist. Prof. Dr. Jiyan KILIÇ is a lecturer in the Foreign Trade Program at Balıkesir University Sındırgı Vocational School. She completed her undergraduate studies in Economics at Celal Bayar University in 2014. She received her master’s degree in Economic Theory from the same university in 2017 and her doctorate in Economics from İzmir Democracy University in 2022 with her thesis titled “Design of a National Multidimensional Poverty Index for Turkey (2010–2020)”. Since 2024, she has been working in the Foreign Trade Department at Balıkesir University, teaching courses in professional English, international economics, and foreign trade.
Her academic work focuses on development economics, macroeconomics, foreign trade policies, economic growth, poverty, current account balance, and exchange rates, and she has various national and international academic publications in these areas.
