Strengthening Technological Skills through the MetaTech 4.0 Project: Training for Project Stakeholders

Within the framework of the MetaTech 4.0 project, funded by the European Union through the Erasmus+ programme, a specialized training session was organized for project stakeholders. The training focused on enhancing practical skills and technological competencies in the fields of Computer-Aided Design and Computer-Aided Manufacturing, in alignment with contemporary academic standards and the evolving demands of industry.

A total of 14 selected participants took part in the training, including representatives from the business sector, students engaged in practical learning activities, and teachers from two technical secondary schools. The training aimed to strengthen participants’ professional capacities by providing applicable knowledge and hands-on experience relevant to modern technological environments. In addition to technical competencies, the program emphasized the development of soft skills, innovative thinking, and entrepreneurial initiative. Participants were also introduced to the practical use of 3D printing technologies, enabling them to apply advanced manufacturing concepts in educational and professional contexts. Through this initiative, the MetaTech 4.0 project continues to contribute to the integration of university, industry, and vocational education, fostering innovation and strengthening the skills ecosystem required for the digital and technological transformation of the metal processing sector.
