Within the framework of cooperation between Haxhi Zeka University and Lodz University of Technology, a delegation from Haxhi Zeka University, composed of Prof. Dr. Edmond Beqiri, Associate Prof. Dr. Ylber Januzaj, and MSc. Arberora Haxhija, carried out a one-week visit to this university.
During the visit, meetings and discussions were held regarding the advancement of academic cooperation within the Erasmus+ KA171 programme, as well as opportunities for expanding student and academic staff mobility, developing joint academic programmes, and participating in international projects such as Erasmus+ and Horizon Europe.
During the spring semester of 2026, four students from Haxhi Zeka University — Albin Tahiraj, Soreja Adzajlic, Ernest Beqiri, and Erion Tola — are attending one-semester studies at Lodz University of Technology, with credit transfer in accordance with the inter-institutional agreement.
During the week of the visit, Professors Edmond Beqiri and Ylber Januzaj delivered lectures to students of Lodz University of Technology, focusing on innovation, artificial intelligence, and digital transformation in higher education. The lectures were characterized by strong academic engagement and interaction.
At the conclusion of the visit, both institutions emphasized that this cooperation represents an important opportunity for academic development, internationalization, and stronger involvement in European networks and alliances of innovative universities.
