Today, at the premises of the "Haxhi Zeka" University in Peja, Prof. Dr. Armand Krasniqi - Rector of UHZ, together with Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Hoxha - Dean and Prof. Dr. Nexhdet Shala - Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Agribusiness, hosted in a working meeting the delegation of the Faculty of Food Technology of the University of Tetova, consisting of:
Prof. Dr. Gafurr Xhabiri – Dean, Prof. Dr. Xhezair Idrizi – Vice-Dean for Teaching, Prof. Dr. Namik Durimishi – Head of the study program and Mr. Sc. Durim Alija – Head of the study program.
Rector Krasniqi, welcoming the delegation, expressed high regard for the cooperation between the two faculties to date, and informed the guests about the dynamics of development, transformation, mission and vision of UHZ, especially in terms of academic modernization and international expansion of cooperation.
During the meeting, it was confirmed that both universities have already signed a cooperation agreement, while it was assessed that there is ample space for deepening inter-university and inter-faculty cooperation.
On the other hand, Dean Xhabiri informed Rector Krasniqi about previous collaborations between the faculties and emphasized that this cooperation should not only continue, but also be further expanded in areas of common interest.
The meeting substantially discussed new modalities of cooperation, including:
- mobility of professors and students of both universities,
- mutual participation in Summer University courses and programs,
- development of joint research projects,
- si dhe other opportunities for academic and scientific integration.
The meeting was evaluated as friendly, constructive and promising, where both deans pledged to advance and expand all forms of academic cooperation in the service of the development of knowledge and the benefit of students and academic staff of both universities.
