At the "Haxhi Zeka" University in Peja, an information session about the Generation Unlimited competition was held by the project lecturer at Innovations Lab Kosovo, Mr. Blond Gerqari, in collaboration with the Career Development Center.
UNICEF Innovations Lab Kosovo in partnership with PEN will organize the global Generation Unlimited Youth Challenge, which aims to teach young people aged 14-24 about how to develop a product, campaign, or service.
The following are eligible to apply:
- Young people aged 14-24, from all over the
the territory of Kosovo and all communities; - Teams that offer solutions to one of the biggest challenges
below: - How can we improve access to inclusive education?
and to increase learning opportunities for children with disabilities, through
alternative and creative methods? - How can we create a better connection between
employment opportunities and young people, improving their skills, and
by increasing private sector engagement?
Five (5) of the 10 teams participating in the workshop will win a grant worth 1000 EURO for the implementation of their product or service, as well as the opportunity to participate in the Global Competition, which will be held in February 2020, which is also an opportunity to win additional funds for the development of their project.
The workshop will be held from November 29 to December 1, 2019.
All expenses during this workshop are covered by the organizers.
