Today, the management of the “Haxhi Zeka” University held a working meeting with the academic and administrative staff of the Faculty of Business, the Faculty of Tourism, Hospitality and Environmental Management, as well as the Faculty of Law, where the initial ideas and proposals for the New Strategic Plan of the UHZ for the period 2026–2030 were presented. This meeting marks the first phase of the comprehensive process of discussions and analyses for the new mission and vision of the university. “Haxhi Zeka” in Peja has started the process of drafting the Strategic Plan 2026–2030, a fundamental document that will guide institutional development in the coming years. The Rector of the UHZ, Prof. Dr. Armand Krasniqi, together with close associates, presented to the academic units the approach, structure and preparatory steps of this strategic process.
The meeting took place in a collaborative and inclusive atmosphere, emphasizing the importance of engaging all academic units at this early stage. Rector Krasniqi emphasized that the new strategic plan will reflect contemporary developments in higher education, innovation, scientific research, contribution to society, digitalization and international cooperation – giving UHZ a clear orientation towards European standards.
