Description of the International Winter University UNIWIN 2026
Following the highly successful first and second editions of UNIWIN, which brought together students, professors, and researchers from across Europe, this year’s edition continues to promote academic excellence, knowledge exchange, and long-term cooperation.
University “Haxhi Zeka” is pleased to announce an open call for professors to teach courses at the 3rd International Winter University “UNIWIN”, which will be held from
02nd of February – 13th of February 2026.
The initiative aims to foster international collaboration with international universities and to create new opportunities in teaching and knowledge transfer. The University invites professors to deliver ECTS-credited courses at Bachelor or Master level in the following multidisciplinary fields:
Management in Tourism, Hospitality and Environment and related fields
Professors will have the opportunity to design and teach courses and engage students in interactive learning experiences.
Aims of the International Winter University UNIWIN 2026
- Improve academic foundations and help develop a new skill sets for the future;
- Expand horizons;
- Help discover new opportunities and challenges;
- Provide instruction and discussion on a wider range of analytical perspectives in a specific field;
- Build on the most recent developments and challenges in the world;
- Create opportunities for national, regional, and international cooperation and collaboration.

What do we offer for international professors?
- Reimbursement of travel and accommodation costs
- Allowance of 700 euro
Application procedures
- Eligibility
UNIWIN is open to all candidates who are:
- Involved an accredited college or university;
- involved in research and science;
- ambitious, creative, and transparent in transferring knowledge;
- have a chance of being accepted;
- have intentions to develop future institutionalized cooperation with UHZ.
Important Notes:
- Teaching must be done by two teachers: Local and International. Professors of each department (local or international) can suggest a course for UNIWIN 2026. Course suggestions with the name of a co-professor indicated will have the advantage.
- Priority will be given to courses that focus on entrepreneurship and digitalization in the fields of tourism, hospitality, and environmental studies.
- The local professor must have advanced knowledge of English language.
- Lecturing and reporting during the International Winter University, UNIWIN 2026 shall be done exclusively in English Language
- Advantage will be given to applications coming from European countries.
Application procedures
All candidates must complete the application form which can be found here. The application form should be returned to the International Relation Office no later than November 30th 2025. We kindly ask you to fill out the application form with accuracy, leaving no box blank. Please note that incomplete applications will not be considered.

Admission criteria

- A copy of your contract with the institution you work for;
- An up-to-date copy of your CV;
