“Haxhi Zeka” University in Peja continues to strengthen its commitment to academic quality, equity and student empowerment. At its meeting held on December 5, 2025, the University Governing Council made two important decisions that mark a major step in the institutional support of distinguished students and those with special needs.
First decision, based on Regulation No. 2875 and Competition No. 2845, approves the list of students benefiting from university scholarships of excellence for the academic year 2024/25. Based on the official document, this year A total of 79 students benefit Bachelor and Master levels from all academic units of "Haxhi Zeka" University, reflecting their commitment, results and academic contribution during the academic year. The budget allocated for these scholarships amounts to 99,600.00 €, funds which will be executed within the financial year 2025.
Second decision, based on Regulation No. 2875 and Call No. 2847, approves the list of students with special needs status, who will benefit from dedicated financial support for the academic year 2025/26. According to the official document, this year four students from various faculties of UHZ will benefit from this support, with a total budget of 4,800.00 €, which will also be executed within the 2025 financial year.
These two important decisions clearly reflect the commitment of "Haxhi Zeka" University to create a fair, inclusive and motivating academic environment for all students, valuing excellence as well as providing ongoing support for students with special challenges.
