The United States-Kosovo Educational Exchange Board (USKEB) is pleased to announce the 2026 Fulbright Specialist Program Open Call for Kosovan host institutions. This program enables your institution to host highly qualified U.S. scholars and professionals for two to six weeks to complete a defined project that strengthens institutional capacity and fosters long-term collaboration.
In addition to the range of eligible disciplines, this year’s projects will be prioritized in the following areas:
· Artificial intelligence (AI)
· Business, entrepreneurship, management, and supply chains
· Cybersecurity and IT
· Disaster response
· STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics)
· Free speech and open debate
· Energy security and critical minerals
· Cultural heritage (preservation, anti-trafficking, and enforcement)
All projects should include a Freedom 250 component, celebrating the 250th anniversary of the United States. Projects may cover American history, culture, values, governance, business, law, and other areas of American significance. Eligible Institutions: Institutions of Higher Education, Government Institutions (ministries or agencies, courts, parliamentary or congressional bodies, Cultural Institutions (conservatories, museums, etc.), Non-Governmental Organizations including non-partisan, issue-centred institutions and think tanks, Medical Institutions (public health organizations, teaching hospitals, etc.)
