With much respect, gratitude and emotion, today we say thank you Ms. Fatmire Thaçi, who after a lifetime dedicated to serving the institution and people, retires from the Faculty of Tourism, Hospitality and Environment of "Haxhi Zeka" University.
Her professional path began early, at the end of 2007, at the former FSHAB, where she was first employed as a librarian, to be elected and appointed at the beginning of 2009 as Secretary of this institution. From those days until today, her contribution has never been simply a duty, but a mission. With extraordinary commitment and high professionalism, Ms. Thaçi made an irreplaceable contribution to the preparation of the documentation and the elaborate for the establishment of the “Haxhi Zeka” University, which was crowned on 14.11.2011, entering history as one of the administrative pillars of this fundamental process.
On 20.09.2012, the Interim Governing Council of UHZ appointed her as Acting Secretary General of the University, a position she held for several years with high professional credibility, academic ethics and institutional responsibility. After this period, she continued her engagement in the Faculty of Tourism, Hospitality and Environment, in various administrative roles, always remaining an example of correctness, dedication and citizenship.
Fatmira Thaçi was and remains the model of the complete person: in work, in behavior, in ethics and in institutional culture. She gave the “Haxhi Zeka” University a dignified reflection of university administration and contributed to the building of a civic climate and academic civilization. Her work and values will not only remain unforgettable at UHZ, but will serve as an inspiring example for generations to come.
The staff, colleagues, management, students, alumni, and all the citizens she has served with dignity and dedication will be forever grateful.
Thank you, Mrs. Fatmire Thaçi, for everything you have given. Your retirement marks the end of a great chapter of service and the beginning of a new, well-deserved period, with the deep respect of all of us.
