UNISUM 2026 Professor Spotlight: Prof.Karolina BEYER

Prof. Karolina Beyer, University of Szczecin, Poland.
Prof. Karolina Beyer is a researcher with a specialization in management. She serves as Deputy
Director for Education at the Institute of Management, University of Szczecin, and as Vice-President
of the Center for Research and Development for the University of Szczecin, where she actively
supports the transfer of research and innovation into practice. She is also the founder of the Create
Your Business project, supporting management development and digital transformation in SMEs.
Her research focuses on digital innovation, artificial intelligence and ICT tools in business, innovative
business models, intellectual capital, entrepreneurship, and, more recently, neuroscience in business
relationships, particularly trust in leadership and organizational decision-making.
Author of around 50 scientific publications, Prof. Beyer has co-organized the international
conferences: Economics, Management, Environment (15 editions) and Innovation Management in
the Economy (10 editions), and co-organized the InMan Workshop at ECAI 2025.

At UNISUM 2026, Prof. Karolina Beyer will co-teach the course “Innovative Business Models”
together with Prof. Dr. Ibish Mazreku.
