The election of the deans of Haxhi Zeka University was held today, June 25, 2025, during the constitutive meeting of the University Senate, held at the rectorate premises in Peja. This process represents a very important moment for the university. It strengthens the leadership structures and academic capacities of the various faculties, ensuring better management and sustainable institutional development.
At this meeting, Senate members had the opportunity to discuss and vote on the selection of new deans for the respective academic units. This is part of a transparent and professional process, which aims to bring strong leadership and strategic vision for the development of the faculties.
The faculties that elected their deans today are:
- Dean of the Faculty of Business – Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ylber Januzaj
- Dean of the Faculty of Law – Assoc. Prof. Dr. Petrit Nimani
- Dean of the Faculty of Agribusiness – Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Hoxha
- Dean of the Faculty of Arts – Prof. Dr. Fatbardh Gashi
The election of deans at Haxhi Zeka University was conducted in full compliance with the university statute and the Law on Higher Education in the Republic of Kosovo. This process was carried out after a careful assessment of the candidates' capacities and academic vision. This guarantees strong leadership and long-term perspective for each faculty.
The mandate of the new deans begins on October 1, 2025, marking a new beginning towards strengthening leadership capacities and academic advancement at the university.
