| Overall project objective | “Promoting Mushroom Farming in Western Balkan through strengthening linkages between VET provider and the business sector” |
| Main Activities | – Key competences related to vocational and technical competences in mushrooms cultivation and the life cycle assessment for mushroom production, – VET teacher’s/trainers professional development through practical, hands-on learning materials for mushroom sector-specific expertise, – Innovation in VET related to unlocking the circular bio-economy potential in the WB region through the establishment of mushroom bio-labs for demand-oriented and opportunity-driven VET interventions, – Skills matching with current and future job opportunities related with mushroom farming, including entrepreneurship and job creation. – Work-based learning (for young people and/or adults) through hands-on experience with residual green biomass conversion into substrate for mushroom cultivation and production, – Green and digital skills for the twin transition through practical and technical skills for regenerative practices, closed loop management and micro-climate controlling of the mushroom cultivation and production. |
