UHZ management meets representatives of Peja NGOs
The UHZ management received today in a meeting the representatives of the civil society, respectively the non-governmental organizations that exercise their activity in the municipality of Peja. This meeting was organized by the NGO “Let’s do it Peja” in coordination with UHZ, which was attended by eight organizations from all invited NGOs in Peja.
Rector Prof.Dr. Armand Krasniqi, Vice Rector Prof.Dr. Edmond Beqiri with their associates informed the participants about the strategic objectives of the university, about the current challenges and circumstances of UHZ. In the framework of the development strategy and profiling of the university, a close and above all sincere cooperation with the civil society is considered to be without alternative by the UHZ management. Information on the needs of the civil society of our municipality will greatly assist the university in the preparation of new professional programs, which would then enable the creation of competent staff and in line with market demands. All participants agreed that a close cooperation between civil society and the university is in benefit of students and will always be in the service of the perspective of new generations.
