Some partnerships begin with an agreement. Others are built over the years through trust, a shared vision, and unwavering commitment. Such is the partnership between the University “Haxhi Zeka” and Prof. Dr. Hab. In\u017c. Kesra Nermend<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today, the University “Haxhi Zeka” had the honour of holding the official ceremony to confer the title of “Honorary Member of the University”<\/strong>\u2014the highest institutional distinction awarded by the University to individuals whose exceptional contributions have significantly advanced its development and international standing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By decision of the University Senate, this prestigious title was conferred upon Prof. Dr. Hab. In\u017c. Kesra Nermend<\/strong>, Full Professor and Director of the Institute of Management at the University of Szczecin, Poland, \u201cIn recognition of his outstanding, long-term, and dedicated contribution to the development of the University “Haxhi Zeka”, particularly in strengthening international academic cooperation, supporting institutional development, advancing scientific research and academic activities, promoting internationalisation processes, and enhancing the University’s visibility within the international academic community<\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For many, Prof. Nermend has been far more than an institutional partner. He has been a trusted friend of the University, a valued advisor, and a committed collaborator whose contribution has played an important role in the University’s journey towards academic excellence and internationalisation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His contribution has extended to the development of doctoral study programmes aligned with European standards, the strengthening of scientific research, the establishment of strategic partnerships, the preparation of competitive international projects, the advancement of the Institute of Science and Arts, the establishment of the University’s scientific journal, and the organisation of international scientific conferences that have strengthened cooperation between the academic communities of Kosovo and Poland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Behind every institution that moves forward stand individuals with vision\u2014people who share not only their knowledge, but also their belief that universities become stronger when they collaborate, build bridges, and create opportunities for future generations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prof. Dr. Hab. In\u017c. Kesra Nermend is one of those individuals.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

His commitment has long gone beyond formal cooperation. He has become an integral part of the University “Haxhi Zeka’s” story, contributing to the strengthening of its international identity and the expansion of academic partnerships that today represent one of the University’s greatest strengths.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This distinction is an expression of our deepest appreciation, but it is also a reminder that universities are not built solely by those who work within their walls. They are also shaped by the people who believe in their mission, stand beside them, and, through their vision and dedication, build lasting bridges between universities, academic communities, and nations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today, we honoured more than an outstanding professor. We honoured a trusted friend of the University “Haxhi Zeka”, a strategic partner, and a true ambassador of academic values.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
