Dear students,

It is with great pleasure that we extend this invitation to you on behalf of the organizing committee of the third edition of the Kosovo Sustainable Development Week – KSDW.

KSDW is the first event of its kind in Kosovo and the region, which is brought together by the Government of Kosovo, representatives of civil society, and the international community. The main objective of KSDW is to foster a multi-stakeholder public dialogue and to seek effective ways to promote sustainable development in Kosovo and the region.

We are pleased to invite you to participate in to a three day online lecture with specific topic of Circular Economy and Green Recovery.

The purpose of these online lectures is to provide you with answers on what is Circular Economy, how can it help in Business development and Economic growth, but also how it can be practically implemented and what are benefits of such an approach.
It is our aim to bring you closer to new trends in the world, to address the question of economic recovery trough experiences of others who have implemented principles of Circular Economy and point out what needs to be done in Kosovo so it can develop in more sustainable way.

The lectures will be held from 28th to 30th September, when you will be able to hear experts from local academia and international community.
This year, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, KSDW’s organizational partners will focus on establishing a Virtual Platform labelled under the branding of KSDW, which will enable wider reach of the audience online through interactive and attractive range of activities and information. The public will have the chance to expand their knowledge on environmental issues and sustainable development in Kosovo through reading and debating related research papers, as well as scientific assessments portraying the stance of Kosovo in this regard. Furthermore, the platform will include awareness raising products, such as video materials and info graphics. Simultaneously, the platform will enable the follow up announcements on the KSDW event, encourage public action, and increase its visibility.
